How to Play Rampart
Quick start
Press 1 to begin and choose a new game. Select a home fort, place cannons within its walls and aim during battle. In the repair phase, rotate pieces with 1 and place them with 2 to close the walls before time expires.
Controls
D-pad: move pieces, cannons and aiming cursor. Default controls: 1 rotates wall pieces or accelerates the battle cursor; 2 places pieces or fires. Options includes a joypad-style setting.
Rampart — About this game
Rampart alternates construction with cannon fire. Choose a home fort and place guns inside its walls, then use the battle phase to aim at the enemy. After the shooting stops, repair your defenses with irregular wall pieces before time runs out. A wall matters because it encloses territory: leaving a gap can cost you the space needed to keep fighting. Rotate pieces to fit awkward corners and plan for more than the next hole. Solo battles and a two-player contest put the same cycle of building, firing and rebuilding under pressure.
