How to Play Rocky
Quick start
For solo play press 1 on pad 1; for two players press 2 on pad 2. In solo mode complete training before the first bout.
Controls
D-pad: footwork and punch direction. 1 alone: duck. Up+1: face guard; down+1: body guard. 2 close: uppercut; up+2 at distance: straight punch; down+2: hook.
Rocky — About this game
Rocky follows a boxer through training and matches against Apollo, Lang and Drago. Each solo bout has its own preparation, while two players can face each other without training. Distance determines whether a punch becomes an uppercut or a straight attack, and the direction held changes the move. Guarding the head and body requires different inputs. Read the opponent’s reach, defend deliberately and create an opening before committing to another combination.
