How to Play Star Wars
Quick start
Press 1 to start. Begin with Luke, explore the first cave and practice shooting with 1 and jumping with 2. Hold 2 for more height; hold 1 while moving to run, then jump for extra distance.
Controls
D-pad: move, climb, crouch and enter doors with up. 1: fire/use weapon and run; 2: jump, hold for height. Landspeeder: D-pad steers, 1 accelerates. Falcon gunner/X-wing: D-pad aims or steers, either button fires. Trench: 1 lasers, 2 proton torpedoes.
Star Wars — About this game
Star Wars follows the rescue of Princess Leia and the attack on the Death Star. Luke explores Tatooine, enters caves and searches for allies and equipment before the journey moves into Imperial territory. Han and Leia become playable during the adventure, giving the action more than one hero to manage. Side-scrolling sections combine blaster fire, climbing and carefully judged jumps, while the landspeeder and spacecraft change the pace. Holding the jump button increases height; running before a jump helps clear wider gaps. Learn those two distances early rather than spending health on repeated falls.
