How to Play Streets of Rage
Quick start
Press 1 to reach the title and again to begin. Choose Normal with the D-pad and 2, then select a fighter and confirm with 2. Use 1 to attack and 2 to jump.
Controls
D-pad: move. 1: attack or pick up items/weapons; repeated presses combo. 2: jump. Console Pause pauses; while paused, 1 calls the available police special.
Streets of Rage — About this game
Streets of Rage follows three former police officers fighting a syndicate that has corrupted their city. Choose Adam, Axel or Blaze for a single-player campaign through streets filled with gangs. Move around the fighting area to line up attacks rather than staying directly in front of every opponent. Repeated punches form a sequence, jumping opens aerial attacks and discarded weapons add reach. Food restores strength, so leave it until you need recovery. Police backup provides a limited special attack: pause first, then press 1 to call it. Clear each group before the timer expires and follow the signal onward.
