How to Play Strider 2
Quick start
Press an action button to advance the title, choose Easy and begin. Practice the jump and attack buttons on the first stretch. Stop before attacking to throw shurikens, and move while attacking to use the sword.
Controls
D-pad: move and crouch. Use the jump button to clear gaps and the attack button for weapons. Standing still throws shurikens; attacking while moving uses the sword.
Strider 2 — About this game
Strider II sends its warrior into the Master’s trap after Princess Magenta is kidnapped. This Master System adventure mixes platform routes with close combat and projectiles. Standing still changes the attack into a thrown shuriken, while moving lets you use the sword. That distinction makes positioning part of the weapon choice: stop for a distant enemy, then move closer when a slash is useful. Collect the scattered orbs to build the Rotun protection for boss encounters. Learn where attacks arrive before making long jumps, and enter the next stretch with room to land safely.
