Movement: left/right to walk; up to enter rooms and use stairs; 1 jump, 2 kick. Conversation: D-pad selects commands/items, 2 confirms or advances dialogue, 1 cancels to movement.

Tensai Bakabon puts Bakabon’s Papa at the centre of a search for Hajime. Moving through town and speaking with people are equally important: the action scenes lead to buildings and rooms where commands and items help advance the investigation. Directional input changes meaning between walking and conversation, so take time to read the choices before confirming. Jump over obstacles with 1 and use 2 for a kick while travelling. During conversations, 2 confirms a command or continues dialogue, while 1 cancels back to movement. Keep track of clues and return to relevant places rather than rushing past everyone.
