How to Play Matchbox Emergency Patrol
Quick start
Choose Beginner/Rookie controls in Options and begin a patrol. Use the directional pad to drive, SELECT to switch vehicles and START to check the overhead map. Approach an incident with the appropriate emergency vehicle.
Controls
Rookie: directional pad drives, A activates siren, B uses hose or throws handcuffs, START opens map and SELECT changes vehicle. Chief: A accelerates, left/right steers, B brakes or uses equipment, Up siren and Down reverse.
Matchbox Emergency Patrol — About this game
The driving scheme changes with the selected control option. Rookie lets the directional pad drive directly around the map; Chief separates acceleration from steering. Start with Rookie to learn streets and vehicle jobs, then use the overhead map to plan the next response rather than taking every corner at full speed.
