How to Play Max Payne Advance
Quick start
Choose New Game and follow the graphic-novel introduction to Roscoe Street Station, where Max must meet Alex. Go through the first white door, search the flashing cabinet with B for an M9 clip and collect the nearby ammunition and painkillers. When the first two gunmen appear, tap R while moving to shoot-dodge in Bullet Time and fire with A.
Controls
D-pad moves diagonally through the isometric view. A fires or swings the current weapon. B jumps and activates doors, cabinets or other actions when the ! flashes. R activates Bullet Time; use it while moving to shoot-dodge. Hold L, highlight a weapon with the D-pad and release L to equip it. START pauses.
