Use the D-Pad to walk left and right, climb or adjust direction where the terrain permits, and move through menus. A and B are the two action buttons used for jumping, short pollen-powered flight and stage interactions; pressing an action whilst airborne or directing the character down performs the stomp shown in the tutorial. START pauses. The accessible contemporary review and public footage establish the jump, brief flight and stomp mechanics, but did not label the A/B split consistently, so this guide deliberately does not invent which of the two buttons owns each action.
