How to Play Meet the Robinsons
Quick start
Choose New Game for the story. Move Wilbur with the Control Pad, approach a ledge to grab it and press Up or B to pull up. Open the backpack and drag three gadgets into the Y, X and A slots. Scan objects, follow Carl's mission and use Monitor Stations to save and improve equipment.
Controls
The Control Pad runs; Wilbur hops automatically while moving. B dives forward; at a grabbed ledge, B or Up pulls him up. START or the backpack opens the gadget menu; drag tools to Y/X/A, then press the assigned button or touch a tool icon to use it. Touch an enemy/object to lock on. Hold L/R to rotate the camera left/right, or slide the camera icon to look up/down.
Meet the Robinsons — About this game
Wilbur must recover Cornelius Robinson's stolen time machine with help from Carl and the family's inventions. The DS adventure travels through places such as ancient Egypt and future robot-ant territory. Gadgets are central: scan people and objects for information, disassemble objects for components, and use what you collect to build or upgrade equipment at Monitor Stations. Assign three tools to Y, X and A on the touch screen so they are ready during an encounter. Watch both health and gadget energy, and use the camera to inspect the route before moving. A separate Chargeball game changes the action into throwing charged balls at an opponent's goal.
