How to Play Mega Man Zero 2
Quick start
Choose New Game and cross the Sand Wilderness in the opening mission, defeating the X-Droids and the boss at the end. Once Zero reaches the Resistance Base, check the equipment screen, practise the new Chain Rod and speak with Commander Elpizo to select a mission. The leftmost first mission is a manageable start; practising dash-jumps and charging weapons early makes later ranks much easier.
Controls
Default controls: D-pad moves, climbs ladders and presses Up to talk; A jumps and confirms, B uses the main weapon and cancels, L dashes, R modifies or uses the sub weapon, and START pauses/opens the equipment screen. Wall-jump by pressing toward a wall and jumping. The Options menu can change attack and button settings, so check the displayed layout before using an alternate type.
