How to Play Mega Man Zero Collection
Quick start
Select Easy Scenario for a continuous first playthrough, or choose Zero 1 in Title Select. Follow the opening rescue, practise a short jump and a dash, then learn the attack range before rushing past an enemy. Check the Sub Screen’s equipped weapons and control layout before the next stage.
Controls
The original default layout uses the directional pad to move, A to jump or wall-kick, B to attack and L to dash. Hold R and press B for the sub-weapon in the default Type A setup. START opens the Sub Screen, where equipment and options can be checked; the DS touch screen configures X/Y assignments there, while normal action uses buttons.
Mega Man Zero Collection — About this game
Zero Collection gathers Mega Man Zero 1 through 4 on one DS card. Choose an individual adventure with Title Select or follow the four in order through the easier Easy Scenario, whose save is separate. Dash, wall-kick, use a Buster or Saber and adapt to each title’s additional equipment: the rods and Zero Knuckle do not all belong to the same initial loadout. Platform hazards and boss patterns still require timing even with the gentler mode. Begin with short jumps and attack distance in the first rescue scene, then check weapon settings before a longer mission. The collection also records unlockable artwork and cards as you progress. Begin with the opening instructions and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
