How to Play Mega Man ZX Advent
Quick start
Choose Grey to begin in the Mysterious Lab, or Ashe for the Raider airship pursuit. In both openings, move right, shoot with Y and jump hazards with B. Grey should jump over leaking gas; Ashe crosses chains and blue moving platforms between aircraft. Complete the opening encounter and follow the story to Hunter's Camp. Model A is acquired during the later transport mission; copied boss forms and their movement powers are introduced after that.
Controls
Default DS Type A: D-pad moves; Up talks, enters doors, climbs ladders or activates Transervers. B jumps and wall-kicks in compatible transformed forms; Y uses the main attack, R the sub attack, L dashes and X opens transformation selection. After obtaining Model A, hold R to lock on and release to fire, spending Biometal energy. With its gauge full, hold A for Giga Crush. A also confirms, B cancels and START opens the sub screen. Basic untransformed forms cannot dash or wall-kick; settings allow remapping.
Mega Man ZX Advent — About this game
Mega Man ZX Advent introduces Grey and Ashe, two protagonists with different openings and attacks. Their basic forms already carry a gun, while the later Model A transformation adds charged fire and a lock-on sub weapon. Its A-Trans ability goes beyond collecting weapons: defeated opponents can become usable forms, each with its own movement and combat options. Copied forms bring movement abilities that help overcome obstacles, so switching shapes is part of exploration as well as fighting. Missions and maps organize the connected areas. Learning which form fits an obstacle matters alongside the familiar platforming demands of timing jumps, avoiding hazards and reading boss attacks.
