How to Play Mega Man ZX
Quick start
Choose Vent or Aile and follow the delivery ambush and first transformation into Model X. Head right through Area A-1 and A-2, practising jumps, charged shots and wall kicks. Leave the inaccessible yellow door for later. Defeat the snake-like Giga Aspis, then reach the Guardian rendezvous. Stand by the Transerver and press Up to save and inspect mission requests; Locate Giro continues the search for your delivery partner.
Controls
Default DS Type A: D-pad moves; Up talks, enters background doors, climbs ladders and activates Transervers. B jumps and wall-kicks when against a wall; Down+B drops through suitable platforms. Y uses the main weapon, R the sub weapon when the form has one; hold to charge supported attacks. L dashes, X selects transformations, START opens the sub screen. A confirms and triggers Overdrive only in compatible later forms. Human form cannot dash, wall-kick or attack. Controls can be customized.
Mega Man ZX — About this game
Mega Man ZX follows Vent or Aile through a connected world of towns, wilderness and enemy facilities. Biometals transform the hero and provide different weapons and movement abilities, turning a previously blocked route into somewhere worth revisiting. Missions give the exploration direction, while Transervers let you check requests and save progress. Combat combines precise jumping, dashes, wall kicks and charged attacks, with each form changing how you handle threats. The opening uses Model X; Model ZX and the other forms arrive through later events. The ordinary human form has its own exploration role, including crawling through narrow passages, but cannot fight or perform the transformed movement techniques.
