How to Play Meikyuu Jiin Dababa

Quick start

Press START on the title to begin. First, let's check the distance of a long jump by combining movement with the cross button and A on a safe footing. B's attack goes in the direction you are facing, so face the enemy before shooting. When the exit doesn't open, look for scaffolding devices and hidden tools to meet the requirements for that stage. If you jump too long, you'll lose your footing, so check where you'll land before proceeding.

Controls

Normal: Use the cross button to jump up, down, left, or right, press A to jump in place, and press A + cross button to double the distance traveled. Press B to attack in the direction you are facing. START starts/pauses during play. Boss room: Jump left and right in that direction, up to jump backwards, down to jump forward, A to high jump on the spot. B attacks in the direction it is facing. On the game over screen, select CONTINUE/SAVE with SELECT and confirm with START.

Meikyuu Jiin Dababa — About this game

A work in which you control the monk Shiva as he navigates labyrinths and temples covered with mysterious plates. The movement itself is a jump, and while using both normal steps and leaps that double the distance, you can overcome enemy attacks and break in the foothold. There are tricks and tools hidden inside the plate, so you can't move on just by rushing to the exit. Searching to meet the conditions for each stage, such as scriptures and keys, is also essential. Bosses await in each of the four areas, and you fight in different directions and with different jump controls than in normal scenes. It's a unique challenge to simultaneously think about the direction you're aiming at the enemy and the next landing spot.
