How to Play MetaFight EX
Quick start
Press START to leave the demonstration, then START again at the title. Practise moving, jumping with A and firing with B in the vehicle. At a catacomb entrance, use SELECT to get out and Down to enter the gate. Search for its key, defeat the boss and use the reward to explore new routes. Return to the vehicle, overlap it and press SELECT to get back in.
Controls
In side view, Left/Right moves, A jumps and B attacks. In the vehicle, Up aims upward and Down+B fires the selected special weapon; SELECT gets out. On foot, Up/Down uses ladders and Down crouches or enters gates; SELECT reenters only while overlapping the vehicle. In catacombs, the D-pad moves, A uses the launcher/shotgun and B the gun. START opens item selection.
MetaFight EX — About this game
The vehicle gives you stronger protection and special weapons, but its driver must explore the catacombs alone. Side-view passages require jumping and ladder climbing; overhead rooms use four-way movement and separate gun and launcher attacks. Defeating bosses supplies new tools for further exploration. Remember where you parked, and avoid high falls while on foot: the driver is much more vulnerable outside the vehicle.
