Quick start
Read the opening events and speak to nearby residents before leaving town. Check personal equipment, healing supplies and the available vehicle. Try an ordinary encounter, inspect the battle result and return for repairs before taking on a wanted monster.
Controls
Use the DS directional controls to explore and the displayed confirmation and return controls to talk or inspect menus. In battle, choose a character’s attack, skill or item, then its target. Inspect vehicle equipment and remaining ammunition before confirming a weapon choice.

Reloaded reworks Metal Max 2 for DS. After the Bias Grappler attack kills your guardian, travel between settlements, recruit a party and hunt wanted monsters while pursuing revenge. Battles use commands for people, dogs and customized vehicles, so keeping personal equipment ready matters when a tank cannot enter or breaks down. Character jobs and sub-jobs support different skill combinations, while vehicle guns, engines and armor compete for capacity and money. Start by talking through the first settlement and understanding supplies before chasing a large bounty. Repair and resupply between expeditions rather than spending every reward on a bigger weapon.
