After creating the data, first select "Tutorial" and try moving, jumping, shooting, and gun arts in order. In the stage, shoot the enemy with B, immediately pick up the Pernogra dropped by the defeated enemy, replenish your GF, and jump on the flashing platform to clear the stage. The first goal is to finish the tutorial and pass stage 1-1. You can use evasion arts with R + direction, and super gun arts with R + A/B, but they consume GF, so use guns on normal enemies and save for dangerous barrage and bounties. You can recover by shooting in front of the totem pole.

Run, crouch, and change the aiming direction with the cross button, jump with A, and shoot the metal gun with B. R is the arts button, R + direction is the equipped gun arts, R + B or R + A is the super gun arts. Press →→ to do a cartwheel, while doing a cartwheel, press A to somersault, and while doing a somersault, press ↓ + B to fire straight downward three times. You can open options with START and change badges/arts, redo, return to map, and key layout. The keys can be swapped in the settings, so the initial placement is shown here.
