How to Play Meteos
Quick start
Open Meteos → Tutor to learn ignition, then try Simple with a low difficulty and no CPU opponent. Drag one block up or down until three matching blocks align. Watch the rising stack and make another match within it if it starts to fall. Keep the pile away from the top before trying the accelerator. START pauses the game.
Controls
Touch a block and drag it vertically within its column; the original Meteos does not let you slide it sideways. A matching line of at least three ignites. Tap and hold the on-screen accelerator, or use L/R, to increase the rate of incoming blocks. START pauses. Select menus with the stylus. When a launch loses height, a new match inside the airborne pile can provide another ignition.
Meteos — About this game
Meteos turns matching blocks into propulsion rather than simple disappearance. Slide a block vertically to make three or more matching pieces in a row or column, igniting a launch beneath the blocks above it. Heavy stacks can fall back, so further matches help keep them rising. Different planets alter gravity and launch behaviour, making familiar patterns feel different. Simple, Deluge, Time War and branching Star Trip challenges reward both quick recognition and control of the pile.
