How to Play Midnight Mysteries - The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy
Quick start
Read Poe’s introduction and the first object list. Pan to one part of the scene, tap a word if you need its picture and locate one clear match. Save the bird hint for an object still missing after a careful pass.
Controls
Drag with the DS stylus or use the directional pad to pan the large scene. Tap objects to mark them, tap a list word to view its illustration and select the hint bird when needed. Choose an inventory tool and its target for the displayed puzzle.
Midnight Mysteries - The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy — About this game
Poe’s ghost visits a writer and asks for help uncovering a fictional conspiracy behind his death. Search cluttered scenes that extend beyond the DS screen, panning to examine corners and marking the objects on the current list. Tap an unfamiliar item name to see its picture above, or spend a bird hint to reveal a location. Tools kept in the inventory help with occasional puzzles and concealed items. Random tapping can temporarily frighten away the hint bird, so compare shapes deliberately. Begin with the first list and one region of the scene; the atmosphere and clues provide an imagined mystery, not an established historical explanation.
