How to Play Millipede
Quick start
Use SELECT to choose a one- or two-player game, starting with Game A for the gentler opening. Press START to begin. Move within the light-colored area at the bottom and fire with A. Clear mushrooms that block useful firing lanes, but keep watching approaching insects. Shoot a DDT container when enemies are nearby. START pauses the action; press it again to resume.
Controls
D-pad: move up, down, left or right within the lower playing area. A: shoot magic arrows; it can be held for repeated fire. B: unused. SELECT: choose the game type before starting. START: begin, pause or resume. Two-player games alternate turns.
Millipede — About this game
Millipede limits your movement to the lower part of the screen while a segmented creature winds downward through mushrooms. Shooting its pieces changes the field, and obstacles make it turn, so clearing a firing lane also changes the danger ahead. Spiders and flying insects require attention beyond the main target. DDT containers offer a way to catch nearby enemies in an explosion, but timing the shot matters. Game A eases new players into the attack patterns; Game B brings heavier pressure sooner. Two-player mode is a competition with alternating turns and separate scores, not simultaneous cooperation.
