How to Play Mission: Impossible
Quick start
Choose the language with the D-pad and A, then enter Accept Mission. Select New Game with SELECT and use A to advance the briefing. Read the equipment list before exploring. Move toward possible entrances, use B when a tool icon flashes and enter the building to carry out the objective. START lets you review the briefing.
Controls
The D-pad moves. A runs outdoors and jumps indoors. B fires, kicks or uses equipment when its icon flashes. Hold SELECT with the D-pad to crawl. START pauses, resumes and lets you view the briefing. At the New Game/Continue screen, SELECT confirms the choice.
Mission: Impossible — About this game
The same controls change with the surroundings: A runs outside but jumps indoors, and B can attack or use the tool whose icon flashes. A grappling hook opens a route up a building; other equipment handles specific obstacles at the appropriate spot. Pause to reread the briefing when the next objective is unclear. The game rewards avoiding detection and completing work without firing, giving infiltration a purpose beyond simply surviving a fight.
