Mississippi Satsujin Jiken: Murder on the Mississippi — About this game
Detective Sir Charles and his assistant Watson come across a case while on vacation on the Delta Princess on the Mississippi River. It's an adventure in which you walk around the ship using a side-view screen, searching for furniture and belongings, and investigating passengers by asking them about relationships and evidence. They take the items they have obtained back to their cabin, examine them in detail, and show the testimonial notes to another person to uncover a new story. The important thing is not only to listen to the testimony, but also to preserve the necessary content. Watson's records are limited to three per suspect, and if you add more, the older ones disappear, and you can't repeat the same story. There are traps inside the ship that will instantly cause the game to end, so you will need to be careful in selecting records and moving carefully. Compare the person's words with physical evidence and build your own path to prosecution.
