How to Play Mitsume ga Tooru
Quick start
Select EASY or NORMAL for the title and start with START. EASY is recommended at first. In EASY, even if you fall into a hole, Tenjin Tori will save you, but you will take damage, so don't push yourself too hard. First, move left and right, check A's jump, and B's aura, clear out the surrounding enemies, and then press and hold B to bring out the red condor. Jump onto it with A when it returns, and practice jumping high by holding down A. Pick up the coin, touch the girl waving the flag, and go to the shop. If you are low on physical strength, prioritize the first aid kit, listen to the explanation of the product at A, and buy it again at A.
Controls
Cross button: Move Sharaku, move the cursor on each screen. A: Jump. B: Shoots an aura. Hold B: Call the red condor. If you hold down A while riding the condor, you can jump higher. START: Pause and weapon selection screen, press again to resume. Select the weapon by pressing left/right or SELECT on that screen. SELECT is used to move the cursor for title and weapon selection, and is not used during normal play. At the shop, use A to explain and purchase, and B to cancel.
Mitsume ga Tooru — About this game
An action game based on Osamu Tezuka's manga and anime, in which Hosuke Sharaku, a member of the Three-Eyed Tribe, confronts the ancient prince Godal. Proceed through stages such as towns and ruins, defeating bosses in various places, and chase Wato Chiyoko who has been kidnapped. Normally, you attack enemies with an aura shot from your third eye, but if you hold down B, you can summon your weapon, the red condor. If you jump on the returning condor, you can use it as a foothold, and by jumping from there you can advance to places that cannot be reached with normal jumps. Coins dropped by enemies can also be increased in value by attacking them, and can be used to buy special auras and recovery items at the shop. The strategy is to watch the enemy's movements and shoot, create a safe space for the Condor to appear, and make purchases that suit the next terrain.
