How to Play MLB Power Pros 2008
Quick start
Choose a quick match, your team and a manageable difficulty. Watch a few pitches before swinging, then practise aiming a pitch when your side takes the field. Check outs and runners before deciding where to throw.
Controls
Use the Control Pad to position the bat marker and B to swing; A bunts. Select and aim pitches with the displayed pitching controls. Move fielders with the Control Pad and use the shown face-button destination for throws. The lower screen shows runners and player information.
MLB Power Pros 2008 — About this game
The DS edition concentrates on baseball games with the 2008 MLB teams and rounded Power Pros players. Place the bat marker to meet a pitch, choose a pitch type and location, then field the ball with the runners and outs in mind. Quick matches, an eight-team playoff, team editing and a home-run challenge provide different ways to return to the field. Begin with a short match and practise one batting and pitching sequence before changing manual-control options. The lower screen helps track runners and player details. This handheld edition does not include the console versions' Season, Success or MLB Life campaigns. Begin with the opening instructions and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
