How to Play Bases Loaded 4

Quick start

Select the exhibition option at the title with left/right or SELECT, then confirm with A or START. Choose 1P, pick your team and the opponent, then review the starting lineup. Practise pitching and swinging with A, and use B for a bunt. Up represents home, Left first, Down second and Right third; throw with the destination direction+A after a catch. Use the radar to track offscreen fielders and try the pennant race when ready.

Controls

Batting: D-pad positions the batter, A swings, Up/Down+A adjusts high/low, B bunts and another B press cancels the bunt. Running: destination direction+B advances or steals, return direction+A retreats, hold A+B to stop. Bases: Up=home, Left=first, Down=second, Right=third. Pitching: direction+A begins the delivery; tap A during the windup to increase the chosen location's effect, then use the D-pad for breaking pitches. B opens the field view for a pickoff, followed by target direction+A. Fielding: D-pad runs to the ball, B jumps, left/right+B dives, target direction+A throws. START calls time for substitutions; A opens the lineup and B cancels a choice.

Bases Loaded 4 — About this game

Moe Pro!: Saikyou-hen brings back season play while retaining a center-field view of the action. Pick a club from two six-team divisions, chase seventy wins in a season of up to 130 games and then face the other division's winner in a first-to-four championship series. Exhibition matches let you practise against the computer or another player without committing to that campaign. Individual performances also matter: a black-and-white star system reflects strong plays and mistakes, changing how players perform during the game rather than simply replacing their listed statistics. That gives you a reason to watch both the field and the lineup when deciding whether a substitute is needed. A radar helps locate fielders and the ball beyond the main view, while the infield display keeps runners visible. The goal is to build sustained wins through sound pitching, well-timed batting and quick, accurate defense.
