A starts a pitch or swings; the pad selects pitching location/speed and the direction of a swing. Change direction during the windup to add break before release. Tap A for a bunt. On defense, the pad moves fielders, B attempts a jump near the ball, and direction + B attempts a dive. Once holding the ball, direction + A or B throws to a base (Right first, Up second, Left third, Down home). For a runner, hold the direction of the occupied base and tap B to lead or hold B to steal; direction of the return base + A sends him back. Down + B advances all runners; Down + A returns them.
