How to Play Momotarō Densetsu Gaiden
Quick start
On the scenario selection screen, use the cross keys to select the story you want to play and press A to confirm. In "First Time," Momotaro will introduce three stories. While moving, face the villager near them, press A to open the menu, and select "Talk". After buying weapons, equip them with "Soubi", and when your stamina decreases, use inns and recovery tools. In the God of Poverty edition, the basic attack is "Sneaking" in battle. Ask the village priest to record the voice of heaven and save your adventures frequently.
Controls
D-pad: Move fields, select commands/targets. A: Open window, decide command. B: Close window, cancel selection. START: Displays a list of physical strength, equipment, money, tools, etc. SELECT: Not used. While moving, select ``Talk'', ``Investigate'', ``Save'', etc. from the menu, and during battle, select ``Fight'' or the God of Poverty's ``Steal'', techniques, tools, defense, etc.
Momotarō Densetsu Gaiden — About this game
"Momotaro Densetsu Gaiden" is a three-part RPG that sheds light on Momotaro's friends and former enemies. The God of Poverty goes on a journey alone to punish the Zeniou who extorts money from the villagers. It is characterized by stealing the enemy's money with a "steal" attack, which is a normal attack. In the story of Yashahime, three companions are selected from seven candidates, and they face the dangers of hell by considering combinations of techniques and abilities. Accompanying Urashima on his journey is the Kamuro Danuki, who rebels and causes trouble. Each story is independent, and you can play another story even in the middle. The basics are questioning while moving, equipping weapons, and properly using techniques and tools in battle. At the village shrine, you can record up to two ``Voices of Heaven'' for each story, so you can proceed with the story in sections.
