Controls

Run a railway company across Japan in a turn-based race for assets. Roll the die, choose a route toward the shared destination and use arrival money to buy properties that pay income at settlement. The player farthest from the new destination risks the disruptive poverty god, so distance matters even while shopping. This anniversary edition adds historical characters linked to monopolizing particular property stations. Begin with a short solo game against computer rivals, inspect the destination and plan the first route before buying. Keep cash for bad events instead of spending every arrival reward immediately.
