How to Play Momotarou Dentetsu
Quick start
Press START on the title and set the number of participants and whether each president is a human or a computer. It's easier to understand if you decide on the name and rules using the D-pad and A, and specify the number of years you want to play at first. Decide on the order from "Start the game" and check your destination. Roll the dice with A and choose your path with the cross keys. In major cities, people buy trains and properties while keeping their budget, and when they're done shopping, they choose ``Don't change!''
Controls
Cross key: Select train route/items, letters, and numbers. A: Dice/Decision. B: Cancel/Go to previous screen. B when no dice appear on the normal map: Opens the regional/individual/comparison data window. After determining the movement roll, press A and cross key: Look around the map. When you release A, it returns to its original position. START: Start from the title. SELECT is basically not used.
Momotarou Dentetsu — About this game
The original Momotaro Dentetsu is a board game that combines Sugoroku, where you move a train, and company management. Two to four presidents head to their respective destinations, and when they stop in major cities, they buy trains and properties to increase their spring profits. The way you play depends on whether you reach the target amount of revenue first, compete for revenue in a specified year, or get Momotaro Land in Okayama.The final rule is that you can only play with humans. Unlike later works, the God of Poverty and cards do not appear, and the year progresses in four turns: spring, summer, fall, and winter. You can get to your destination even if the numbers aren't perfect, but you don't want to miss out on shopping opportunities along the way. Railways are stable assets that will not be sold, and it is important to have cash for winter expenses. Enjoy the rules that are different from modern Momotetsu, which only compares total assets.
