How to Play Monkey Madness - Island Escape
Quick start
Start the first island level and try a short stylus drag while watching the upper reticle. Fire at an incoming projectile, correct the kickback and then target the monkey before the route continues.
Controls
Drag the DS stylus across the lower screen to move the reticle relatively on the upper screen. Press a firing button to shoot; the game accepts the buttons for firing rather than requiring a tap on the target. Keep correcting upward kickback between shots and follow menu choices between stages.
Monkey Madness - Island Escape — About this game
Monkey Madness is an on-rails shooter: the route advances for you and stops for waves of monkeys. Drag the lower-screen stylus to shift the upper-screen reticle, then press a button to fire the squirt gun. Shoot incoming projectiles before concentrating on an enemy, and adjust for the upward kick after a shot. Defeated monkeys can provide temporary weapons such as a coconut or rapid-fire peanut gun. Begin with the first beach encounter and test small relative aiming movements; touching the lower screen is not a direct shot at that position. The island route later changes through jungles, ruins and caves.
