How to Play Monopoly
Quick start
Choose a token and one computer opponent, check the house rules and roll the first turn. Open the property information before buying and review your remaining cash before ending the turn.
Controls
Use the DS stylus to select dice, properties, trade offers and purchase confirmations on the lower screen. Read the board overview and money totals before accepting a transaction. Holding the stylus on the lower screen can accelerate the presentation; release it for normal pacing.
Monopoly — About this game
Choose a token and opponents, then build a property portfolio while keeping enough cash to pay rent and fees. Complete colour groups to develop houses and hotels, or negotiate trades when one missing property blocks a useful set. This standalone DS edition shows the board above in 3D and offers detailed touch-screen choices below, including adjustable house rules. Begin against one computer opponent, read the starting rules and inspect an unowned property before buying. A tempting purchase can leave too little reserve for the next rent, so compare cash flow with long-term development.
