How to Play Monster Jam
Quick start
Select an available championship race and follow the first track marker. Try a brief boost on a straight, crush a reachable object to refill it and finish before exploring a shortcut on a later attempt.
Controls
Steer with the DS directional controls and use the displayed accelerator and brake. R activates boost; release before overheating. L engages four-wheel steering for tight turns. Watch the route marker while choosing a shortcut or crushable object.
Monster Jam — About this game
Monster Jam on DS mixes open-course truck racing with stadium competitions. Crush boxes and cars to replenish boost, but release it before overheating temporarily disables it. Track markers help you rejoin the route after exploring shortcuts. Freestyle rewards ramp jumps and crushed cars, while stadium races demand tighter steering. Earn Monster Points to open more trucks and courses through the championship campaign. Start with a race, learn where its first marker leads and use one short boost burst on a clear straight. Save four-wheel steering for a tight bend rather than forcing every turn at full speed.
