Monster Maker: 7-tsu no Hihou — About this game

Monster Maker: Seven Treasures is an RPG for the Famicom that uses cards to represent the world of swords and magic. At first, you control Lufia, an apprentice magician, and then you go on an adventure around the Seven Treasures, centering on the ``Child of Light'' whose gender and name you have decided. In the dungeon, open the cards in front of you one by one to find enemies, traps, and treasure chests. Companions have roles such as warriors, magicians, and thieves, and how they are arranged in the front and back rows and the allocation of MP sealed in magic cards will affect how they fight. The Child of Light can negotiate with monsters, and can also summon the monsters he has befriended into battle. Another feature of the game is that you grow by completing adventures and trials, rather than gaining experience points. In addition to preparing your equipment in town, don't forget to record your time with the Timekeeper.
