How to Play Monster Racers
Quick start
Choose a starter, meet the first wild rival and inspect the race course. Try moving and one jump, use turbo when the route is clear and review terrain suitability before the next challenge.
Controls
Move with the D-pad. In races B jumps and Y uses turbo; A fires MonStars during field races. Outside races A confirms or interacts, B backs out and X opens the menu; Select lets you inspect the course before a race.
Monster Racers — About this game
Travel between towns and wild areas, befriend monsters and settle encounters with short side-scrolling races. Grass, sand and other terrain suit different creatures, so choose a runner for the route rather than relying only on appearance. Race experience improves statistics, and skills add another reason to change the travelling team. Begin with a starter, inspect the course and practise a low jump before spending turbo on a gap or overtaking opportunity. In field races, MonStars help befriend a wild rival. Keep an eye on the track after an upper platform or item detour: the reward may cost the lead.
