How to Play Monster Trucks DS
Quick start
Choose Practice, a truck and an unlocked track. Learn steering and one safe landing, then enter Championship Season and aim for first or second to advance and earn upgrade money.
Controls
A accelerates, B brakes and R uses nitro. Left/right on the D-pad steer; up/down adjust forward/back pitch in the air. Start pauses. Touch Next or press A through setup; Select opens the shop at results and buys the chosen upgrade in the shop.
Monster Trucks DS — About this game
Monster Trucks DS is a lap racer with Practice, Quick Race and a Championship Season. In the championship, first or second place advances to another track and earns money for the Performance Shop. Engine, tyres, suspension and nitrous affect different needs, from speed and grip to landing recovery. Begin in Practice without rivals, learn one jump and check the gate pointer: green means the right direction, red means the wrong one, relative to the map. Then try a championship race and buy an upgrade that addresses a real weakness. Use limited nitro on a useful straight, keeping the truck’s pitch under control when airborne.
