How to Play Motocross Champion
Quick start
If you're starting a new race, check the course map before qualifying to see where the curves and jumps are. While driving, press A to accelerate, press B to decelerate, and press left or right to turn. Up is the weight shift forward, down is the weight shift backwards. At first, I didn't try to turn at full throttle, but prioritized slowing down before the corner and making a safe lap. Aim for top 2 in the qualifying rounds, and advance to the next course with first place in the finals. Make a note of the password that will be displayed once you are halfway through.
Controls
A: Axel. B: Brake. D-pad left and right: Turn left and right. On the D-pad: Shift your weight forward. Lower D-pad: Shift your weight backwards. Handle control and posture control have different roles, so when jumping or undulating, you need to use forward and backward weight shifts. If you fall, you can quickly recover by pressing the button repeatedly.
Motocross Champion — About this game
``Motocross Champion'' is a motorcycle race that involves conquering jumps, continuous small undulations, and steep corners. The screen moves not only horizontally but also vertically, and you run by combining left and right turns and shifting your weight back and forth. Speed alone is not enough to stabilize your performance; your posture before and after the jump and where you touch the wall also affect your time. Each course has a qualifying round and a final round, and those who pass the qualifying round are in the top two. Even if you fail, you will have the opportunity to make a comeback, and if you come in first place in the final, you will advance to the next course. The road gets narrower towards the end of the eight courses, making it necessary to deal with complex curves and obstacles. You can resume where you left off with your password, so first learn the acceleration, deceleration, and changes in posture on the first course, and aim for a stable lap little by little.
