How to Play Mr. Driller
Quick start
Press START at the title and select the easier 2500 ft challenge with A. Move beside a colored block, face it and drill. Collect oxygen capsules along the descent, avoid drilling through brown blocks unnecessarily and leave space to step aside when unsupported blocks fall.
Controls
Direction pad: move and face a drilling direction. A/B: drill in the direction you face. START: pause. Moving against an adjacent one-block step lets Susumu climb it when there is space. Watch the blocks above before removing support.
Mr. Driller — About this game
Mr. Driller on Game Boy Color is a race to dig down through colored blocks while keeping an eye on oxygen and falling debris. Drill connected blocks to open a route, collect air capsules and avoid being crushed as the structure above you shifts.
Removing a support can bring a large section down, while matching groups can clear in a chain. Tough brown blocks cost precious air to break, so a short-looking path is not always the safest. Read the ceiling and plan an escape before drilling.
