How to Play ¡Mucha Lucha!: Mascaritas of the Lost Code
Quick start
Press START, begin the story and enter Episode 1, Level 1. Rikochet is the only selectable wrestler at first; Buena Girl and The Flea unlock later. Clear each arena by defeating the incoming enemy wave, then move on when the exit opens. The first episode ends with its boss in Level 4. Search side routes for hidden enemies and power-ups, because the end-of-stage letter grade considers completion and time. Save the punch-plus-kick screen-clearing special for a crowded wave instead of spending it on one target.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move Rikochet through the side-scrolling arena. The GBA game has separate punch, kick, throw and jump actions; jump plus punch or kick performs an aerial attack, while pressing punch and kick together triggers the character's special move and clears the current enemies. A and B are both used as attack inputs in contemporary GBA reviews, but no publicly readable manual or source exposed an unambiguous complete mapping for punch, kick, throw and jump across A/B/L/R. Exact assignments and pause are therefore left to the game's control screen rather than guessed.
