How to Play The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Quick start
Enter the first tomb, move a block when prompted and trace the first rune. Learn facing and a dodge against one soldier, then watch your firing and reload rhythm before fighting a group.
Controls
Move with the DS D-pad. Y performs close-range combinations and B dodges; use the displayed firearm control while facing the target and allow its reload to finish. Use the stylus to trace a rune when the puzzle panel appears, then return to movement and combat.
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor — About this game
Rick and Alex O’Connell try to stop Emperor Han and his terracotta army in a DS action adventure seen from an angled overhead view. Explore tomb routes, push blocks and trace ancient runes on the touch screen, then face groups of soldiers with fists or firearms. Begin in the opening tomb, inspect a movable block and solve the first rune before treating every obstacle as combat. When enemies arrive, face the target and leave room to dodge instead of standing surrounded. Rick’s pistols and Alex’s slower shotgun have different rhythms, so check the current character and allow time for reloading before taking another exposed shot.
