Quick start
Choose or create the toddler and read the first guided task. Try one care action, check the child’s expression and meet food or rest needs before starting the next standing or talking lesson.
Controls
Use the DS stylus to feed, tickle, wash or guide the toddler as the current task shows. Follow a microphone prompt for speech or blowing only when offered, and wait for the child’s readiness signal before repeating a spoonful or learning action.
My Baby - First Steps — About this game
First Steps continues the baby-care idea with a child ready for toddler milestones. Choose the child’s appearance, then follow the in-game guidance through spoon feeding, washing, changing, play and learning to stand or speak. Basic needs can interrupt a lesson, so check whether the child wants food or rest before repeating a walking task. Begin with one simple care activity and learn the toddler’s response to the stylus. The DS microphone is used for particular voice or blowing prompts, such as cooling food, rather than every action. Use photographs and clothes as part of the virtual routine while progressing from one developmental goal to the next.
