In a clinch: C-right drives, C-left breaks the grip, C-up throws underarm and C-down overarm. START in practice opens opponent-action settings. These are this sequel's C-button techniques.

64 Oozumou 2 — About this game

64 Oozumou 2 links the sumo bout to a longer training career. Story Mode develops a wrestler through tournaments, events and minigames, while using techniques builds experience that can increase power, reduce vulnerability or improve speed and unlock further moves. In a bout, the opening clash, distance and belt contact determine what each C direction does. Attacking constantly drains stamina, so timing and defensive reads matter. Practice lets you fix an opponent's action and rehearse a response. Direct bouts and a knockout tournament provide shorter alternatives to the story.
