How to Play Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage
Quick start
After the opening, inspect the chest near Alaron for healing supplies and follow the forest path. Use A to investigate and speak to nearby characters. Practise holding R with the stick to inspect the camera, then read the first combat prompts before choosing movement and an action.
Controls
Trek: stick moves, A interacts/confirms, B shows party or cancels, R+stick controls camera, Z+stick sneaks, START opens pause. Combat: stick moves, A initiates melee/targeting, C down spell menu, C up items/potions, L or Z ends turn.

A goblin poisoning sends Alaron on a journey that grows beyond his original search. Exploration involves conversations, containers and routes through settlements and wilderness. Companions bring different skills, equipment and combat roles, so party preparation affects both travel and encounters. Battles give characters turns to move, attack, use items or cast available spells. Positioning and the choice to spend a resource matter more than rapid button presses. Trek and combat modes use different controls and menus.
