How to Play Banjo-Kazooie
Quick start
Begin in Spiral Mountain and speak to Bottles beside the molehills with B. Take the lessons rather than skipping training, then practise jumping and moving the camera. Once ready, climb the spiral path and enter Gruntilda's lair to find the first picture puzzle.
Controls
Control Stick moves; A jumps and holding it gives more height; B attacks or talks beside a molehill. Z crouches, C-left/right rotate the camera and R centres it. START pauses. After learning the moves, hold Z and press A for a backflip, or Z plus C-left for Talon Trot; keep Z held to continue trotting.
Banjo-Kazooie — About this game
Banjo and Kazooie set out to rescue Tooty from Gruntilda, exploring worlds reached through the witch's lair. Jiggies complete pictures that open new worlds, while musical notes help clear barriers deeper inside the lair. Bottles teaches moves that change how you tackle ledges, slopes and puzzles, so returning to an overlooked corner can reveal a new route. Jumping, swimming and carefully watching the camera matter just as much as fighting enemies along the way.
