Style A: move the rod with the stick; pull down to set casting power, then A casts. After casting, A reels fast and B slowly; stick back or Z sets the hook. R instantly retrieves the lure. Before casting, the D-pad operates the trolling motor. Driving: stick steers, A goes forward, B reverses and Z cuts throttle. START pauses; menus use A to confirm and B to cancel.
Bass Hunter 64 — About this game
Bass Hunter 64 puts the search for a good fishing spot alongside the cast itself. Drive to a promising area, inspect depth and fish icons on the fishfinder, then match your lure and retrieve to the conditions. Different casting styles let you reach open water or slip a lure beneath cover. Fish for Fun offers a solo outing on available lakes, while Championship links increasingly difficult tournaments and awards purchase points for better equipment. Custom Tournament lets you set rules, weather and water conditions. Success depends on presentation and the hook set, not just casting far or reeling at full speed.
