How to Play Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
Quick start
Choose START GAME NORMAL and begin with Standard or Defensive. Practice B punches, A kicks and R jumps, then use C-right to select an item and C-left to use it. Try other suits after learning how their special moves differ.
Controls
Booklet defaults: stick/pad moves; B punches or uses keys; A kicks or uses keys; R jumps; C-right selects item and C-left uses it; C-down crouches/searches; C-up stealth; START pauses. Defensive can block with L/Z; Nimble uses R twice for double jump.

Bruce Wayne has retired, but the Jokerz and a returning Joker threaten Gotham again. Terry McGinnis takes up the case in an action adventure built around fighting, searching and equipment. Four Batsuits favor different approaches: Standard provides a balanced start, Offensive adds attacks, Defensive supplies blocking techniques and Nimble improves movement with a double jump and glide. The same special-action buttons change with the suit, so learn its abilities before charging into a group of enemies.
