How to Play BattleTanx: Global Assault
Quick start
Press START, set one player and Campaign, then choose START GAME with A. Pick an affordable tank and preserve the remaining Tank Bucks. With the default Arcade controls, practise Z cannon fire, A secondary weapons and R strafing before attacking defended positions.
Controls
Arcade default: stick steers tank/turret; R strafe mode; Z main cannon; A secondary weapon; B cycles secondary weapons; L viewpoint; C-up changes tank; C-left/right operate rail movement, C-down takes Goliath off rails where permitted; START pauses. Easy, One-Button and Driver presets differ.
BattleTanx: Global Assault — About this game
Griffin Spade’s family faces a new threat, and the campaign sends him to rescue his son Brandon. Choosing a tank now draws from Tank Bucks: stronger vehicles cost more, and running out ends the campaign. A two-player cooperative campaign shares the same pool, making careless losses expensive for both players. Destroy damaged buildings for hidden power-ups, gather supplies and learn to strafe around defenses. Separate multiplayer modes range from QueenLord captures to convoy attack or protection, with maps in the United States and Europe and room for up to four players.
