How to Play BattleTanx
Quick start
For the controls below, open Options and Controller Config and choose Easy. Set one player and Campaign, then select START GAME with A. Practise steering and Z cannon fire before adding A secondary attacks; B cycles those weapons. Easy locks the hull and turret together.
Controls
Easy preset: stick steers the tank with hull and turret locked; Z main cannon; A secondary weapon; B cycles secondary weapons; L changes viewpoint; C-up changes tank; C-left/right move a Goliath along rails, C-down leaves rails where allowed; START pauses. Other presets change aiming and movement.
BattleTanx — About this game
After civilization collapses, Griffin Spade crosses the ruined United States in search of Madison. Tank battles combine direct cannon fire, secondary weapons and objectives around fortified bases. Vehicle choice changes your tactics: the MotoTank sacrifices armor for speed, while the Goliath brings heavy firepower and rail movement. Several controller presets handle hull and turret differently. Beyond the campaign, multiplayer modes include Deathmatch, last-tank-standing Annihilation and Battlelord’s QueenLord captures, with gangs offering different tank lineups. Learn the chosen preset before entering a crowded fight.
