How to Play Bomberman 64: The Second Attack
Quick start
Choose Story Mode with A and select a file; start with the tutorial if you are new. Move with stick or D-pad, place a bomb with A and move clear of the blast. B picks up and throws bombs. After gaining elements, open bomb selection with C-left, C-right or C-down and choose the type needed for the obstacle.
Controls
Stick/D-pad moves. A places a bomb and confirms menus; while carrying a bomb, hold A to enlarge it. B picks up/throws and cancels menus. C-left/right/down opens bomb selection; C-up calls Pommy. L or Z detonates a remote bomb only with the Remote Control item; R stops a kicked bomb. START starts/pauses. Player 2 uses A for Pommy's attack.
Bomberman 64: The Second Attack — About this game
Bomberman's ship is caught in a black hole, drawing him into the struggle against Rukifellth. Explore planets, blast obstacles and enemies and overcome traps with different bombs. Defeating Astral Knights grants elements that unlock new abilities: ice can freeze water and objects, while lightning affects machinery. Pick up and enlarge bombs to change your tactics. Pommy helps in Story Mode and can be controlled by a second player, although boss fights and Gravity Generator rooms suspend that control. Battle Mode adds configurable contests against human and computer opponents.
