How to Play Bust-A-Move 3 DX
Quick start
Press START, choose Arcade and Puzzle (1 Player), then Practice for its aiming guide. Select a character on the map with directions and A. Start by aiming at two matching bubbles and use L/R for fine adjustments. Learn a wall rebound before moving to Normal or a multiplayer battle.
Controls
Type A: D-pad or stick aims, L adjusts finely left and R right, A launches. START pauses/resumes; while paused, Z opens the options menu. Menus use directions, A confirm and B cancel. In Multiplayer Arcade only, C buttons choose the recipient of bubble attacks. Controller Configuration can change the layout.
Bust-A-Move 3 DX — About this game
Bust-A-Move 3 DX expands colour-matching shots into several different goals. Arcade includes solo puzzles and battles against the CPU or another player. Multiplayer supports up to four human or computer-controlled participants, with survival-style Arcade contests and speed-focused Time Trials; the latter do not send bubbles onto other fields. Challenge adds conditions and evaluates your results, while Collection offers 1,025 prepared rounds. Edit lets you arrange your own bubbles and save up to twenty-five boards with a Controller Pak. Across these modes, removing a support can drop a whole group, so wall rebounds and awareness of the next colour matter more than firing at the nearest match.
